Lynn hershman

Although some of Lynn’s things were a little freaky (like the freaky chucky like robotic dolls) some of her stuff was very interesting. I really like her installation piece called 24 Windows. I liked how she took the dimension of the windows and exteneded it into the street by having the manican reach through the glass breaking it around her wrist. I though that was immensely creative and very unique. I also liked her performance piece with the dancers. I have danced for eleven years and I really like the idea of taking art-in a 2d sense or even 3d sense and combining it with the art of performance. I think then it can speak even greater and have a more profound affect on the viewer. She was an interesting artist. I particularly liked her photograph her reachig with the camera as her head. It scews the idea of space and relation. At frist I thought she was throwing the camera and I was like. . Crap. . that had to be an expensive picture.
